2002 marked the first time that Sandra had returned home to Sweden without me since we were married in 1995. After two weeks off to go to Hawaii from my new job, I just couldn't take another three weeks away. This flight was particularly brutal, after flight schedules were cut back following Sept. 11, 2001.
