This is the trail that leads you on a grueling 15.1-mile, 3800-foot elevation gain, trail to landmark Table Mountain.  On this day, however, we didn't tackle Table Mountain, instead opting to tour Bonneville Dam across the street, and go for a leisurely stroll to Gilette Lake.  You'll see the blue-green lake just before crossing a creek.

What began as a beautiful, warm, sunny day, turned into a torrential downpour, with thunder and lightning striking everywhere.  We were soaked, but we had a good time.
