We stopped for a rest by
the Hoh River, which was ever-present. Throughout the hike, the roar of
the river could be heard, and several side trails led down to it. The
water was ice cold, as you might expect from glacier-fed rivers,
Approximately 50 miles in length, the river is fed by the Tom Glacier and
several creeks. A
favorite for anglers, the river provides spectacular scenery.
