Welcome to our Long Beach slide
show! Long Beach is approximately 28 miles long and has a half-mile
long boardwalk. It is famous for clamming, beachcombing and the
International Kite Festival. Founded in 1805 by Lewis & Clark, it was
originally inhabited by the Chinook Indians. Settlers and the military
moved in around 1850 or so, building the lighthouse at Cape
Disappointment. This show documents our trips together to Long Beach,
Washington. To begin the slide show, click
