The HP33S is finally here!
Ever since NCEES banned the HP48GX from their PLS, PE,
LSIT,
and EIT exams, surveyors and engineers have been in a state of panic.
When you use your HP 48 every single day at work, why would you have
to take a test without it, you ask, and rightfully so. The HP33S
is not compatible with any COGO cards, and is not as powerful as the
HP48GX. However, it is probably the best option out there that
is legal for use on the NCEES exams.
The HP 33S is RPN, a must for land
surveyors and engineers, and has 32Kb of memory where you can write
your own programs and store up to 27 of them in memory. The
HP33S also features a 2-line, 14 character display and nearly 100
built in equations! These features are about all you can have
